Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Seganiko (“we”, “us”) handles information in our mobile applications published on Google Play and the App Store (each, the “App”). It applies to every application listed in section 0 — the same terms apply to all of them, because they share one codebase for advertising, analytics and storage.

Our apps are offline-first reference guides and casual games. They work without an account and without sign-in, and we designed them to collect as little data as possible.

0. Applications covered by this policy

This list is generated automatically from our application catalogue, so a newly released app is covered from the day it exists. Apps that are not yet on the store are listed as well.

1. Data we collect

a) Advertising (Google AdMob)

Our apps show ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect and process a device advertising identifier (Advertising ID) and standard advertising data (such as ad interactions, approximate/coarse signals used for ad delivery, and app/device information). This data is collected and shared with Google acting as an advertising provider.

• In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland we request your consent for personalised ads through Google’s consent tool (UMP); you can accept or decline. Declining does not limit any part of the game or guide.
• On iOS we additionally show Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt where it applies; declining means non-personalised ads.

b) Anonymous in-app analytics

To understand which features are useful and to improve our apps, we collect anonymous usage events: for example, which screens are opened, which in-app search terms are used, and that a level or puzzle was started or finished. These events do not contain personal data — no name, email, phone, IP address, or device/advertising identifiers are stored with them, and they carry no persistent per-install identifier, so they cannot be linked back to a person or followed across sessions. This analytics data is not shared with third parties and is not used to track you across other apps or services.

c) Crash and usage reporting (Google Firebase)

Some of our apps use Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to count how many people use a feature and to receive automatic crash reports. Firebase may process a device identifier and technical device information for this purpose, as described in Firebase’s privacy documentation. Where the advertising consent prompt applies, your choice is passed to Firebase as well.

d) What we do NOT collect

• No name, email address or phone number.
• No account or sign-in.
• No precise (GPS) location.
• No contacts, photos, files or messages.
• No payment data. Our apps are free and contain no in-app purchases, so we never see or process payment details.

2. Legal bases (EEA/UK)

• Consent — for personalised advertising (via Google UMP).
• Legitimate interests — for anonymous analytics and crash reports that help us keep the apps working and improve them.

3. Data security

Any data sent from our apps is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).

4. Children

Our apps are general-audience products and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

5. Your choices

• Advertising ID — you can reset it or opt out of ad personalisation in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
• Ad consent — where the consent prompt applies, you can change your choice at any time from the privacy option inside the app.
• You can contact us at any time (see below) about your data.

6. Data retention

Anonymous analytics events are kept only in aggregated/technical form for as long as needed to improve the apps. We do not store personal data because we do not collect it. Advertising and Firebase data are retained by Google according to its own policies.

7. International transfers

Our advertising and analytics partner Google may process data in countries other than yours, subject to appropriate safeguards described in Google’s Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The current version is always available at this URL, with the “Last updated” date at the top. The list of covered applications in section 0 updates automatically as we release new apps.
